The 'Untitled Glasssand' sculptures explore the concept of invisibility in the process of material formation, giving life to a compressed result through the stratification and vitrification of sands, glass, enamels, pigments, metals, and various everyday objects. These works are closely tied to my native territory and have a deep connection with the 'Brenta' River, a primary supplier of these materials in our recent history. As agglomerates of fused sands into a singular entity, they embody multiplicity. At the same time, they reflect on how drought and heat can reveal unexpected compositions. These sculptures manifest the crystallization of time, space, matter, and energy, resulting from a fusion process and exhibit remarkable resistance to atmospheric elements, unfazed by drought, heat, or frost."
